Céline’s friend Paulo invited us today for the “after the wedding thank you” party for his friends Frank and Ghisèle. These are the two that got married. Thank you Paulo for taking us and thank you Frank and Gisèle for having us.
We were made to feel very welcome, not only by the hosts but all of the family and friends that were there as well. Central in all African happenings appears to be food, good food. In this case: foufou, with sauce graine.I must admit, this was delicious. After I thought that I was really stuffed, up came Paulo’s cousin with another dish, attiéké with kédjénou d’agneau. This, also, was magnificent.
We have watched the entire wedding video, including the traditional stelt walker and all traditions performed in the Bouaké region, where they are originally from.
